Supreme Court granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal for election campaign
After spending over 50 days in custody Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo walked out of Tihar jail Friday evening. Hours before the Supreme Court granted interim bail to him.
The Delhi CM was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 over his alleged involvement in the liquor policy case.
Earlier in the day, in a big releif to Aam Admi Party govt, Kejriwal was granted bail till June 1 with the Supreme Court Bench emphasising that he would have to surrender once the bail term ends.
